The new Outback is slightly larger than the previous model with 109 cubic feet of very comfortable seating for five and has 75.7 cubic feet of flexible cargo space. Powering the Outback is two new BOXER engines. The standard 2.5L four-cylinder has also been redesigned with Auto Stop-Starting technology to get up to 33 highway mpg. while generating 182 horsepower. The second BOXER engine is a powerful 260 horsepower 2.4L turbocharged BOXER engine that can tow up to 3,500 lbs. Which makes the 2020 Outback the most powerful Outback ever.
