The latest Impreza has a sporty look and comes in a hatchback style. The Subaru Impreza has a rugged appearance with roof rails and LED lights. A sport-tuned suspension, which comes with the Sport trim and up, gives the Impreza improved handling. The wheels available with the Impreza also vary. Sixteen-inch steel wheels are standard, but alloy wheels are available on the higher-end trims.
On the inside, the Impreza has one of the largest interiors of its class. The Impreza has enough headroom for even taller passengers to feel comfortable, and it has a new touchscreen design. The Impreza's outward visibility is also exceptional, and it has tall windows that give you a great view out of the cabin.
A highlight of the newest Subaru Impreza is an 11.6-inch touchscreen display with a vertical design. The touchscreen contains all the controls for comfort and practicality, including climate control and navigation. The touchscreen is large and easy to use, and it has a rearview camera that gives you a clear image of the surroundings behind the car. Otherwise, the Impreza also has USB ports and wireless Android Auto. Apple CarPlay is also included as a standard feature. The Impreza has numerous safety aids as well, including adaptive cruise control. A lane-centering system also comes standard.
Two engine options are available with the Impreza for Rio Rancho drivers. The Impreza's standard engine is a 2.0L four-cylinder. This engine generates 152 horsepower and up to 145 pound-feet of torque. The top trim has a more powerful engine, which is a 2.5L engine with an increased capability of 182 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. Both engines have an automatic transmission.
The new Subaru Impreza is produced in three trims.
Starting the Impreza lineup is the Base model. The Base trim has a split-folding rear seat, dual-zone climate control, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay technology. The base model's sound system has four speakers. On the outside, the Impreza gets adaptive LED headlights and roof rails. Lane-keep assist, forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control are also standard.
The Sport adds some more features. Larger 18-inch wheels come with the Sport, which has a retuned suspension with stable handling. The seating material is upgraded to premium cloth, and the Sport also has a keyless entry system with a push-button start. Two more speakers are added to the stereo system, and the Sport has integrated navigation. A safety aid package is available for the Sport with evasive steering assist, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear automatic braking that detects cars behind the Impreza. Along with these features, a sunroof is also available as a bundled package.
Topping the line is the RS, which has dark gray wheels, heated side wipers, and a stronger standard engine. The interior has some upgrades, too, including a wireless charging pad, a leather steering wheel, and heated front seats. You can also add some enhancements to the RS, including a Harman Kardon audio system, a sunroof, and a power-operated driver's seat.
